Essentia Pura CBD Oil Drops

Premium CBD Oil Drops

Essentia Pura™ Premium CBD oil is one of our flagship products. It imparts only naturally occurring ingredients and contains the full spectrum of phytocannabinoids, flavonoids, phenols, and terpenes that are present in the hemp plant, including CBD, CBDA, cannabichromene (CBC), cannabigerol (CBG), cannabidivarin (CBDV). No artificial colors, aromas or preservatives are added.

Derived from de-carboxylated and de-waxed supercritical CO2 hemp extract or resin, our unique and innovative post-extraction process allows us to remove the waxes and resins without using any alcoholic solvents. This CBD product is designed to enhance the consumer’s taste experience by removing some of the bitterness and spiciness coming from certain waxes. The product is amber-gold in color with a medium strong taste.

  • Standard CBD + CBDa range: 3% – 30% (other potencies available on request)
  • THC Content: <0,2%
  • De-waxed: Yes
  • De-carboxylated: Yes (non-decarboxylated on request)
  • Taste: Mild to strong
  • Shelf life: 12 months
  • Standard bottles: 10ml and 30ml
  • Bulk packaging: 100ml up to 20 liters

Raw CBD Oil Drops

The raw formula is imbued with the entire range of phytocannabinoids along with flavonoids, phenols, terpenes and bio-active substances that occur in industrial cannabis. The product is characterized through unadulterated resin diluted in a carrier substance, meaning that it contains all cannabis-specific waxes and resins, as well as chlorophyll. Compared to our premium CBD tincture formula, it also has higher concentrations of acids, including CBDA, CBGA, CBDVA, among others.

Because it is manufactured from non-de-carboxylated, non-de-waxed, supercritical CO2 extract, the product is also termed ‘raw’ or ‘crude’. All waxes and resins are preserved and the product has not been de-carboxylated and de-waxed, which means that it will impart a very strong, bitter taste and has a thicker, more viscous texture. The product was developed for those who want to consume their drops in non-de-carboxylated form and experience the strong taste and earthy spiciness.

  • Standard CBD + CBDa range: 3% – 30% (other potencies available on request)
  • THC Content: <0,2%
  • De-waxed: No
  • De-carboxylated: No (but available on request)
  • Taste: Strong
  • Shelf life: 12 months
  • Standard bottles: 10ml and 30ml
  • Bulk packaging: 100ml up to 20 liters

THC-Free CBD Oil Drops

As its name implies, this formula contains zero % tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), yet still is saturated with a broad range of phytocannabinoids, including CBD, CBG, and CBN. Other bio-active compounds that are present in cannabis, such as terpenoids, are further ingredients, allowing the consumer to experience the synergistic impact of these compounds working together.

Manufactured from a de-carboxylated CBD extract distillate, which is then diluted using the carrier oils of your choice. The end result is a gold-colored product with 0% THC content yet high in purity and potency with very little residuals and aromas. It has an exceptionally mild taste and is great for use in numerous practical applications.

  • Standard CBD + CBDA range: 3% – 30% (other potencies available on request)
  • THC Content: 0%
  • De-waxed: Yes
  • De-carboxylated: Yes
  • Taste: Mild
  • Shelf life: 12 months
  • Standard bottles: 10ml and 30ml
  • Bulk packaging: 100ml up to 20 liters

How Essentia Pura™ CBD Drops Are Made

Essentia Pura™ controls the entire supply chain, from sourcing the highest-quality industrial cannabis to the most effective extraction method. That enables us to provide our customers with consistent bulk CBD products of exceptional quality, yet at an affordable price. Here is a brief overview of our bulk CBD oil production process:

null

The process begins with sourcing high-quality biomass, which is grown organically and without the use of herbicides and pesticides in carefully selected Italian regions.

null

Once the biomass has been delivered to our facility it undergoes a closed-loop supercritical CO2 process in order to obtain solvent-free hemp extract, also called ‘crude extract’. We use highly pressurized carbon dioxide techniques, allowing us to remove the most useful phytochemicals from the biomass.

null

Crude extract can then be subjected to further processing depending on our clients’ needs and requirements. For example, to produce our Premium CBD Drops, the crude extract would be de-carboxylated and de-waxed before being diluted in a carrier oil.

FAQ

What is de-carboxylation?

De-carboxylation is a process in which acid cannabinoids are converted into active ones by heat-treating them at certain temperatures. This causes the molecular structure of CBDA – also called cannabidiolic acid – to change and transform into CBD, for example.

What is CBDA?

CBD is naturally present in the hemp plant in its acidic form known as CBDA. Although this molecule has a number of interesting properties that are gaining popularity among researchers, de-carboxylated CBD and its effects are currently better understood and researched, Studies for this substance and other related products with ”activated” CBD are readily available.

Why is filtration required?

Filtration is not a really necessary step, but most of the time it is performed on our products anyway in order to improve the taste by removing some of the bitterness and spiciness of the waxes and resins in an effort to enhance the consumer’s taste experience. Also, some studies have shown that filtration actually improves the stability of potable products in general. Most of the time we deploy the so-called “winterization process” for removing waxes and resins from our products. However, “winterization” requires deployment of a solvent such as ethanol. That’s why we have developed our own filtration methodology, which is completely unique and permits us to remove waxes and resins without the use of any other (alcoholic) solvents.

What types of carrier oils do you offer?

As a standard, we offer either MCT or hemp seed oil. However, we can also produce our drops using other carriers, including oil pressed from olive kernels or black cumin seeds. Basically, the only requirement here is that the carrier is made up of lipids or alcohol so the CBD can be dissolved and is easier absorbed by the human body. CBD is lipophilic and – at the same time – hydrophobic, which means it dissolves in fat but not in water. But if you do not like fatty carriers, we also provide a new water-soluble CBD product. This allows you to readily dissolve the CBD in plain water or your favourite drink.

Is it legal to sell CBD in Europe?

There is, unfortunately, no short and definitive answer to this question, as every country in the European Union has its own laws and regulations. While CBD products aren’t legal in every European Union country, they are legal in some forms in most of them. We invite you to check our blog post where you can find more information about the legality of CBD in individual European Union countries.

What is "novel food" and how does it affect my business?

Since 2019, European Union regulations and laws consider CBD a novel food item, which therefore must be treated accordingly. It had been formerly recognized that the cannabis plant indeed constituted a “regular food item”, which meant it wasn’t considered a “novel food item”. However, a revision of the novel food regulation was enacted in 2019, which changed the status of CBD from “regular food” to “novel food”. Check here for more information about that and how it can potentially impact your business.
